If you are either healthy or have lower back pain and would like to participate in a PhD study at the University of Newcastle with Mark Goswell, he’d like to hear from you.

The study is aiming to develop a measurable assessment of Core Stability which would require you to complete push movements and pull movements while standing on an unstable surface. The study will require 2.5 hours of your time and require you to have markers placed on your skin to assist in the measurement of joint movements.

The age limits for participants is between 18 – 64 and healthy participants can not have received treatment for an injury in the last year, and low back pain participants should have had back pain that has lasted for greater then 3 months and have not had surgery to the lower back or have spondylolithesis or osteoporosis.
