“The Deluge” is Alliance Française de Newcastle’s July film to celebrate Bastille Day (La Fête Nationale). This historical drama, drawn from the diaries of King Louis’s personal valet, depicts the last days of the French Revolution and the fates of Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI.

The French Market starts at 6pm stocked with French patisseries and handicrafts. The film is in French with English subtitles.
