After two and a half years in Newcastle the historically registered ‘eco battleship’ MV Steve Irwin is heading out to sea again to participate in ocean conservation work with Tangaroa Blue.
Ship4Good is a not for profit that owns and manages the vessel and have undertaken significant work on the ship since being in Newcastle including a collaboration with Escape Reality of have created four incredible ‘escape’ rooms – themed spaces with games to solve within an hour.
You can wish the ship and crew farewell at the Carrington Bowling club on Sunday 12th January. Family fun free event with live music featuring Melbourne’s favourite Irish Folk Punk Band ‘Whiskey Dram’ and special guests. Family fun with $50 for best pirate dress up, silent auctions, door prizes and more.
