
The Alliance Française de Newcastle is offering a fantastic opportunity to experience French cinema at its very best.
The Opening night film on Friday 16 May at 7pm, The Count of Monte Cristo, in the V Max will be an epic way to kick things off. Alexandre Dumas’ story is filled with adventure, drama, and intrigue.
There are two films on Saturday 17 May – at 4:30pm All Stirred Up, set in the beautiful Canadian countryside is a deliciously heartwarming story that will leave you hungry for more.
And at 7pm, Monsieur Aznavour will treat you to the lavishly entertaining rise-to-stardom of the man who beat all odds to become one of France’s best-loved entertainers.
Sunday 18 May, at 2:30pm, Riviera Revenge, a delightfully contagious comedy, proves you’re never too old for crazy acts of love – or payback. Then at 4:30pm, My Brother’s Band follows two very different siblings separated by fate and reunited by their love of music. Don’t miss this fantastic line up!
