A Campbelltown man has faced court charged with the sexual assault of a teenage girl in the Hunter region.
Police say the 37-year-old engaged in conversations with a 15-year-old girl on a social media application, exchanging images and personal details before agreeing to meet up.
It’s alleged the man travelled to the region and sexually assaulted the girl before returning home.
He was arrested at his home yesterday morning and faced Campbelltown court charged with one count of having sexual intercourse with a child aged 14 to 16.
Police also seized a Nissan X-trail and electronic items for forensic examination.
