Nationals Hunter hopeful Sue Gilroy has announced a Medicare urgent care clinic for Morisset if the Coalition’s elected come May 3.
It comes after Labor promised one for Maitland, and committed to expanding services at the existing Charlestown and Lake Haven clinics.
Sue Gilroy says no details have been locked in, but the Coalition will build one on the western side of Lake Macquarie.
“We’re just committed to delivering this, and understanding what we need to do,” she said.
“We’ll work with the … local providers to understand where it’s going to go and what it’s going to cost, but we are committed to delivering this service for these people,” she said.
