Playing activities at the historic Waratahs Rugby Club won’t be affected despite the licensed club closing it’s doors.
The directors have placed the Station Street business into administration after a last ditch offer to buy the club fell though last week.
The club is believed to have debts of almost a million dollars, with a creditors meeting set down for next Thursday.
Administrators Jirsch Sutherland say a number of people have expressed interest in the club and the site, sparking hopes it could reopen under new management.
