The road widening project on Minmi Road and Longworth Avenue at Wallsend is set to improve travel times for tens of thousands of residents, workers and school children.
Contractor Daracon has begun in-ground works which will lay the foundation for the lane duplications, with the 40 million dollar project set to be finished by mid 2026.
