Details have been released by Police regarding a high-speed chase which came to an end on Newcastle Link Road this morning.
Highway Patrol officers at 8:50am identified a vehicle allegedly breaching the speed limit on Majors Lane, Lovedale.
Officers engaged in a pursuit from the Hunter Expressway to Cameron Park where the alleged 24-year-old man was arrested after road spikes had been deployed.
The suspect was taken to Cessnock Police Station.
Police are asking anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
