A teenager has been charged with murder after a young girl was allegedly stabbed to death at Boolaroo.
Emergency services were called to Thurston Street at about 3.45pm on Monday and treated a 10-year-old girl for multiple stab wounds; however she died at the scene.
A 17-year-old girl, understood to be a sister, was arrested at the home and taken to Belmont Police Station for questioning.
She’s now been charged with murder (DV) and refused bail to face a children’s court today (Tuesday 30 April, 2024).
