Harold ‘Peter’ Pickhover was a pioneering broadcaster in Newcastle, and long after he retired, he couldn’t resist the invitation to appear on radio late in his life.
Upon his death in 1991, he left 2NURFM a legacy to encourage new talent in radio. Each year, students benefit from various awards made from this fund.
A Tribute to Peter Pickhover
