Southlakes U3A is a volunteer organisation that helps seniors in Morisset and surrounding areas to maintain mental and physical agility through informal, friendly learning courses. Newcastle’s iconic Art Bazaar continues to be the leading artisan event on the local creative calendar. This gathering of the region’s most talented makers and creatives is thoughtfully curated by Hunter Arts Network and has been taking place since 2002.

Attendees can explore a wide range of stalls featuring hand made work by local creatives including painters, ceramics, printmaking, fibre/textiles, photography, sculpture, jewellery, glass, graphic, homewares and much more.

Sunday 23 August 10am – 2pm St Therese’s Primary School, and Sunday 22 November 9am – 2pm Lambton Park.

A family orientated event to raise the awareness of the importance of Child protection and how we are all responsible to ensure this.
The ride and family event is aimed at bringing the community together and spreading the word: "It's not OK to hurt a child. Everyday it's not OK!"

The event is happening on Saturday 12th September, with a ride around the Lake starting and finishing at Speers Point Park, plus a lot of games and stalls for the whole family to enjoy at the Park.
