As part of the Community Broadcasting of Australia, 2NURFM abide by the Community Radio Broadcasting Codes of Practice.

These codes relate to taste and decency; diversity and independence; accuracy, transparency and fairness in news and current affairs; emergency broadcasting; First Nations Engagement; sponsorship; Australian music content; and complaints and disputes.

Constitution of 2NURFM

2NURFM is a community broadcasting radio station, owned and operated by the University of Newcastle, and supported by community sponsors, donors, students and volunteers. Its constitution details 2NURFM’s objectives, governance, programming standards, sponsorship guidelines, and complaint procedures.

Complaints

Complaints that we have breached these Community Radio Broadcasting Codes of Practice, should first be addressed to us and will be dealt with in accordance with our complaints and disputes policy or procedure. We will acknowledge receipt of Code Complaints promptly in writing.
