Hunter Valley Police are searching for two people who broke into a Singleton residence overnight while the occupants were at home.
Both men were told to return to their homes immediately.

The Hunters lockdown will be extended by one week as the region records 24 cases of COVID-19.
The fire in the Housing Commission flat on Fullerton Street on July 26 claimed the life of 55-year-old Graham Cameron, who was the sole occupant of the 1 bedroom flat.
Six fire trucks and a Duty Commander were called to the two storey timber and fibro home on Clift Street at 3am.
