The Hunter has recorded another record number of daily cases, with 93 announced on Wednesday.
The only other areas across the state which recorded more cases than the Hunter was western and south-western Sydney.
54 of the new cases were infectious in the community, 67 are linked to existing cases and 23 are being cared for in hospital, including two in ICU.

Statewide the numbers are continuing to fall, recording 594 cases on Wednesday and ten deaths.
With just under a week until restrictions are eased, the vaccination rates are currently at 88.6 per cent single dose and 67.7 per cent double dose.
EXPOSURE SITES
A number of COVID exposure sites have been listed overnight including at Cessnock, Singleton, Branxton and Tea Gardens.
Anyone who attended the following venues at the specified dates and times is considered a casual contact and must get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
