A Belmont man accused of assaulting two paramedics while they were trying to take his pregnant partner to hospital to give birth has been refused bail.
22-year-old Wade Still pleaded not guilty to 7 charges in Newcastle Local Court yesterday – it’s also alleged he was under the influence of the drug ICE during the incident.
However, the magistrate denied bail due to Still’s criminal record and previous non-compliance with bail conditions.
