All About Women Festival commonly held at the Sydney Opera House is set to be held as a satellite event at the Newcastle Council Chambers. 


The all-day festival on the 13th of March includes a panel of speakers from 11am-9pm and is held during International Women’s Week. 


The in-person festival will run over two days from the 12th to the 13th of March whereas the Newcastle satellite livestream will hold a number of talks throughout the second day of the event. 


This year’s line-up asks questions and stimulates debate surrounding equity, gender and justice. 
Touching on trauma, transformation, First Nation communities, art, performance, friendship, cross-generational conversations and collective responsibility.


Some of the talks accessible as part of the Newcastle satellite event include; Clementine Ford’s ‘Love Sermon,’ Protecting the Outspoken, First Nations Women Look to the Future, Queerstories, After Consent and many more.
