G’day! Jack from Vinyl Vibes here. I’ve just released a new single of original music!
This single has almost been in the works for a decade and was recorded very similarly to the records of old having been done live in a studio.
Having been immersed in the world of old-school rock and roll, I was surprised to find that with streaming the classic A-side/B-side format had all but disappeared. So, this release is actually a two-song single featuring both an A-side and a B-side.
The A-side is called Captain Strangelove or How I Was Galileoed Into Existence, and the B-side is Come Back to You.
Come Back to You was the first song I ever wrote on guitar and is nearly ten years old. I originally released an acoustic version back in 2019, but the idea of recording it with a full band always lingered in my mind.
Last year, I finally got a full band together for a recording session. We went into a local studio and like the old days, we all played together at the same time to capture the vibrancy and energy of a live performance.
Now, after almost a decade of being in the works, my new single is out!
