A man has been transported to John Hunter Hospital, suffering multiple traumatic injuries during a serious two car crash at Awaba on Thursday.
Just before 8:30am this morning the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and emergency services attended the scene on Wilton Road, with reports a 26-year-old man was trapped in his vehicle.
It’s believed he sustained serious leg, head and abdominal injuries.
Once released the man was flown to the John Hunter Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
It’s believed a woman in her 20’s also sustained chest injuries during the incident.
