A manhunt is continuing after a high speed pursuit through Newcastle’s inner suburbs.
Thomas Bowles is wanted over an outstanding warrant after his parole was revoked for robbery offences.
Police spotted the 22-year-old driving in Carrington yesterday (Wednesday) and began pursuing his vehicle, but the chase was called off for safety reasons.

Thomas Bowles is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180 – 185cm
tall with a medium build and fair complexion.
He is unshaven with brown eyes and short, brown hair.
The man is believed to frequent the Newcastle City, Lake Macquarie, Port
Stephens/Hunter and Hunter Valley areas.
Police have urged anyone with information about 22-year-old Thomas Bowles
not to approach him but to contact police immediately on triple zero.
