Police have set up a crime scene following a break-in at a major Lake Macquarie shopping centre.
Thieves forced their way in the Coles supermarket at Lake Macquarie Fair on Wilsons Road at Mount Hutton just after 12.30 this morning.
The break-in set off an intruder alarm.
It’s understood the thieves made off with several items before police arrived.
The value of the haul is not known at this stage.
