Police have set up a crime scene at a shed destroyed by fire at Millers Forest overnight.

Residents around Old Maitland Road in Cessnock are being told to implement their Bushfire Action Plan now, as an out of control bushfire threatens homes. 

More than 70 firefighters and 27 trucks worked to contain a bushfire which broke out at Lovedale yesterday.
