Two men will face court later this month after a fight broke out at a Charlestown oval.

Police were called to Ferris Oval yesterday afternoon to reports a group of people were fighting using makeshift weapons.

When officers arrived, the group dispersed and left the area.

Police arrested two men  aged 19 and 30 after reviewing mobile phone footage of the incident.

Both have been charged with affray and granted conditional bail.

Inquiries continue to identify and locate the other people involved in the fight.
