“And the important point is that kind of not everybody will experience it in the same way. You know, some people will feel exhausted by their work. For some people, their job won’t be meaningful.

So it’s characterised by these three elements. And usually we know from research that it’s the emotional exhaustion, which leads to the cynicism, which leads to this feeling that you’re not doing your job as well as you could, and it becomes a kind of a vicious circle.”
