We’ve been ‘kept in’ for quite a while now – have we felt the call of things distant?

A lot of folk artists certainly have.  On Wednesday 27th January, we enjoyed artists dealing with the longing for somewhere else, singers like the Waifs, Seth Lakeman and Lucy Wise.  We played a track from an album released by Billy Bragg & Joe Henry – they travelled by train around the USA, recording their songs on stations.  So there’s the sound of a train too!
